Background

With the WTW acquisitions, there was a lot of change. And with change, comes fear, angst and uncertainty.  My Benefits Delivery & Administration marketing team was no exception. Individuals coming from start-up culture environments to a large corporate environment was challenging. Leadership was ever-changing, our capabilities were evolving and we were undertaking the major rebrand initiative with Via Benefits. As a leader, I needed to build, manage and guide the team and successfully hit our objectives.

My Approach

  1. Focus on establishing and strengthening relationships with new and existing team members through 1:1s, stand ups, team meetings and face-to-face interaction 

  2. Ensure each individual knows their role, goals and impact and provide coaching, guidance and support

  3. Empower each individual to perform at the top of their profession and instill a culture of positivity and agility
